F is for Fuck That Ho

Dwayne’s real name is not Dwayne. Duh. Everyone’s name is changed on my blog. But he is aware of my blog and actually came up with his pseudonym.

Now, maybe you all don’t know this, but famous rapper Lil Wayne’s first name is Dwayne. Why drop the D? I don’t know. But whatever. Wayne also goes by Weezy. And a line he uses in many songs is “Weezy F Baby, the F is for ___.” Some examples are Fresh, Fly, Ferocious, or one of my favorites, Phenomenal (lol).

Now, all of that is backstory to explain an inside joke between me and Dwayne. Whenever he does something we will joke that the F is for ___. He used a coupon when we got lunch and I said, “oooh, and the F is for fiscally responsible.” He sent me a snap from the gym captioned “F is for fitness.” You get the idea.

This morning Dwayne revealed to me that he had been talking to a girl for a few weeks and had gone on a date with her. The date went well! I will admit I felt a smidge of jealousy, but overall I was happy he’d actually been seeking out someone besides me. As I mentioned, I felt it was best for our dynamic to not be his only partner.

She asked if I was seeing anyone else

Oh? And what did you say?

Obviously we had been seeing each other but I wouldn’t have blamed him for not mentioning that. Especially if he was about to cut me off.

I told her about you. That you’re married and it’s not serious but that we talk.

Ouch. Not serious. I mean… he’s right, of course. That’s the whole point. That’s literally why I want him to have a distraction from me. We’re not serious. But I didn’t love how it felt to read that.

And how does she feel about that?

She was chill about it but wanted us to become exclusive.
